It would probably be someone really embarrassing like Westlife which I shouldn’t really admit but I guess everyone has their flaws. I guess at least they could provide the entertainment.

What is your best Childhood memory?

My best childhood memory would be spending time with my grandma and sister, we always used to spend new year’s eve together and just sit watching the fireworks on TV being a little girl it always seemed so exciting.

If you weren’t in the envelope industry what would your dream job be?

My dream job would be a primary school teacher.

If you could time travel, where would you go to and why?

I would probably go to 2023 just to see what my life is like in ten years and what I have achieved (hopefully I wouldn’t be disappointed).

What film do you enjoy watching the most?

My favourite film would be Armageddon. I definitely love the tear jerkers and this has to be the best.

Only as good as you make it.

I didn’t buy it but when I was born my mom bought me Madonna- Like a prayer because it was number one when I was born.

My first car was a rusty white Nissan Micra (I use the term white very loosely as it was more brown from all the rust).

The first one I bought myself was a Mercedes – manual gearbox so it was like driving a tank and it didn’t last long.

What is the most obscure or remote airport travel destination you’ve ever been to?

Probably Beijing – not really obscure but memorable for being even more rigid and unsmiling than your average western airport – we were in a group and we had to line up in strict alphabetical order in silence before they would let us through.

If you weren’t in the envelope industry what would your dream job be?

My dream job would be as a master baker – with TV appearances as well of course!  Move over Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood’s all mine.

What film do you enjoy watching the most?

Shawshank Redemption – I always like a tale where there is triumph over adversity.

If you could time travel, where would you go to and why?

Absolutely anytime  – as long as I was part of the aristocracy and not one of the peasants!

What is your best childhood memory?

Playing hopscotch, skipping and hula hoop in the back lane behind our house – oh dear – now that probably has given my age away.

I loved my whole childhood but the majority of it was spent training and competing in swimming pools so my most vivid memory is probably the smell of Chlorine!

A dolphin trainer! I swam with them in Mexico a few years ago and it had always been a childhood dream of mine.

I’ve been to Riviera Maya in Mexico and more recently, New York but never anywhere I’d consider obscure.

My Dad bought me a Ford KA which I even named Frankie Ford, only for him to ring me up and tell me he had a buyer for it! Easiest £600 I’ve ever made!

If you could time travel, where would you go to and why?

It would have to be into the future! We already know so much about the past and I’d be interested to see how the times and technology change over the next hundreds of years.

What film do you enjoy watching the most?

I couldn’t possibly pick just one film, I have too many favourites which I do watch over and over again. I like the Bourne films, Man on Fire, The Usual Suspects, Save The Last Dance, Despicable Me and Matilda to name a few.

All of it! I am very lucky to have had such a wonderful childhood with so many happy memories that I cannot choose just one.

A Citroen Xsara which I wrote off within the first week of passing my test, OOOPS!

My dream job would be working for a private investigation agency …. I would like to be a Charlie’s Angel!

Israel is about the most obscure place I have visited so far in my life.

The same reason for all: because of all the conspiracy theories about how they died and why, I would set cameras up and ask them all what really happened give them all a chance to set things straight and I can sell the story and finally get myself a red Ferrari!!

What film do you enjoy watching the most?

Grease, because growing up my girlfriends and I spent a complete summer holiday, while we were off from school, watching it every single day and singing along to all the songs. It will always remind me of being so young and carefree.

If you could time travel, where would you go to and why?

To the future, we know all about the past already so I would go as far forward as possible and would like to know what the Earth is like in the future – and if we have made communication with life on other planets!

I am the Sales Manager at The Envelope Works, responsible for our amazing sales team and have had the pleasure of playing a key role within the company’s recent history where we’ve experienced fantastic growth and success.

I joined The Enveloped Works in 2008, having been in envelope over-printing now for nearly 19 years and in 2010 I was very proud to take up my role as Sales Manager.

If you weren’t in the envelope industry what would your dream job be?

My dream job would be one of two things…

To play centre forward for Manchester United and England, but unfortunately my left foot wasn’t as good as my right one when I was younger when I used to play quite a bit, so that put and end to that!

Alternatively I would have loved to be an architect as I’m quite creative and the thought of designing all sorts of buildings that have a daily impact on people’s lives would be very fulfilling.

What was your first ever record?

I clearly remember being given some Woolworths tokens for Christmas one year and using them to buy ‘Adam Ant’s Prince Charming Album’ and ‘Now That’s What I call Music 1,’ both on vinyl.

Wow, Woolworths tokens and vinyl…I’m starting to show my age!!!

If you could invite any 4 people to a dinner party who would they be and why?

That’s a tough one as there are lots of people I’d like to meet and talk to, but my 4 would probably be:

Alfred Hitchcock – I’m a big admirer of his films and it would be great to discuss some of his films with him like ‘Rear Window’, ‘Vertigo’, ‘North by North West,’ but also get an insight into the mind that made these dark cinema master-pieces and what it was like to work with so many big Hollywood names.

Jack Nicholson – He’s one of my favourite actors and has lived life to the full, so boy would he have some amazing funny stories to tell over the course of the meal!

Julius Cesar – It would be amazing to be able to talk to someone who could tell me what Rome was really like (in its pomp) and also to speak to a man who lived over 2000 years ago, yet who made such a huge impression on the world that hundreds of years later after his death he is still talked about on a daily basis.

Ian Brown – Simply because he’s the lead singer of the Stone Roses, who are my favourite band of all time and I’ll love to be able to ‘talk music’ with him.

What is your best Childhood memory?

My best childhood memory would be of my little red peddle car and how I spent hours and hours driving it around my mum and dad’s house, or being outside and driving it around my dad’s vegetable plot and our garden. I was inseparable from it for years until I out grew it.

What is the most obscure or remote airport travel destination you’ve ever been to?

Montevideo in Uruguay, where I went for my Dad’s 50th Birthday. Also at the same time, my sister was an ice skater in ‘Holiday on Ice’ and her show was in Buenos Aires in Argentina.

So myself and my mum and dad went over for a week in Montevideo, which had the most beautiful beaches, before going to Buenos Aires for another week to meet with my sister and for the family to be together for my dad’s birthday.

What film do you enjoy watching the most?

My most watched film would be the original Star Wars – I was obsessed with it when I was a child and at one point knew every word of the film.

These days, the film I always watch every time it’s on TV, no matter how many times I’ve seen it in the past and even though I have it on Blue Ray is ‘Where Eagles Dare’.

Clint Eastwood, Richard Burton, Michael Hordern, Donald Houston are in the cast – it’s full of great action (how many times has the cable car scene been copied but never bettered in other films) and with so many twists and turns in the script, it keeps you guessing right up until the end! PLUS, you’ll be humming the theme tune for days.

If you could time travel, where would you go to and why?

I think it would have to be ancient Rome as I’ve read a lot about the Romans and the likes of Cesar, Crassus, Pompey, Mark Antony and Brutus.

I just think it would be amazing to see this incredible civilisation at the peak of its powers. To be able to go in the Colosseum and see it in all its grandeur along with the forum. They’re impressive today but back then they would have just been spectacular.

What was your first ever car?

My first car was a Mark 3 VW Golf 1.4 3 door in Dragon Green. It only had one speaker in it when I bought it, so by the time I’d upgraded the stereo and put some more speakers in the car I think the sound system cost more than the car did!

Royal Mail has announced further changes to postage rates, sizes and weights, making the successful execution of even the simplest direct mail campaigns a headache for even the most experienced print or marketing professional.

With an increasing number of companies turning back to direct mail to create an innovative and meaningful client connection, plus escape the increasing clutter of email marketing, the changes have come at an unwelcome time.
