The Envelope Works installs 3rd Halm EM4000 4-colour printer with UV to meet the need for four colour work.

Earby-based envelope over-print specialist, The Envelope Works, has just added a 3rd Halm EM4000 four colour press with UV to its env1 factory.

“We opened 92 new client accounts in Q4 of 2013, many of whom are asking for a combination of un-coated and matt-coated four-colour work and as such we felt that this purchase was essential to ensure our business kept moving forward throughout 2014,”

…explained Mark Farrimond, the Managing Director.

“The new Halm now means that we have a total of 12 machines. The additional four colour press means we can now print up to 1.8 million four-colour (including matt coated) stock items per day.”

As with all the machines at The Envelope Works, the new Halm EM4000 has been calibrated to GMG colour management specifications and has been upgraded to operate to the latest FOGRA certification standards.
