The Envelope Works installs 2 NEW machines – including a Halm EM5000 four-back-one Perfector

Earlier this week, Earby-based envelope over-print specialist, The Envelope Works, was very proud to take delivery of 2 new New Halm (July 2014)machines.

The first was a Halm EM5000 four-back-one Perfector, and the second was Halm ‘wide’ 2 colour press.

In total, this now provides The Envelope Works with 4 x four colour presses and 10 x two colour presses.

The Envelope Works installs 3rd Halm EM4000 4-colour printer with UV to meet the need for four colour work.

Earby-based envelope over-print specialist, The Envelope Works, has just added a 3rd Halm EM4000 four colour press with UV to its env1 factory.

“We opened 92 new client accounts in Q4 of 2013, many of whom are asking for a combination of un-coated and matt-coated four-colour work and as such we felt that this purchase was essential to ensure our business kept moving forward throughout 2014,”

…explained Mark Farrimond, the Managing Director.

“The new Halm now means that we have a total of 12 machines. The additional four colour press means we can now print up to 1.8 million four-colour (including matt coated) stock items per day.”

As with all the machines at The Envelope Works, the new Halm EM4000 has been calibrated to GMG colour management specifications and has been upgraded to operate to the latest FOGRA certification standards.

W+D 234D Digital Envelope Printer – The Envelope Works / Printing Partners Group gain first in Europe

The Envelope Works Ltd., the UK arm of the Printing Partners Group, the largest independent four colour envelope printing group in Europe, can proudly announce that they were the first company in Europe to acquire a W+D 234 D Digital Inkjet printing.

It was an honour for the Group to have been chosen as one of only three companies in the world and the only organisation in Europe, to work as a partner with W & D to test their latest W+D 234 D, Digital Inkjet printing press. The Group has been conducting ‘behind the scenes’ testing with the Printer since April 2012.
